Former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson turns a year older today. Born in Doncaster in 1991, the now 28-year-old holds a very successful music career. Its been a long journey for him indeed, from auditioning for the X-Factor to being part of one of the biggest boybands of all time, then selling out arenas and touring around the world and now succeeding in his solo career – it has worked out for him very well. Following the band’s hiatus, he has been releasing single after single, which includes “Just Hold On”, “Back To You”, “Just Like You”, “Two of Us” and many more. In addition, the singer is now all set to release his debut solo album “Walls” next year on January 31st. He currently has about 80,660,352 streams on Spotify (including the singles from Walls). He will also be kicking off the start of his world tour in Barcelona, Spain on March 9, 2020.
The hashtag #HappyBirthdayLouis began trending on Twitter on December 23 (hours before it was officially his birthday), and fans came together to tweet out warm birthday messages to Louis, thanking him for all he has done for the past few years and a promise to continuously support him forever on in the upcoming years.
Earlier today, Louis took to Twitter to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas along with a thank you note on receiving all those loving birthday wishes.
